A regulation size soccer pitch, site-fit into a tight footprint using imported material from the neighbouring development — completed on-time and on budget with positive surface drainage built in from day one.
Greenhorizons was consulted during the initial stages of this soccer field project. The challenge was to design a regulation size soccer pitch utilizing imported material from a development site next door, all while minimizing earth moving requirements.
We proposed a “push-up” design to raise the playing surface and ensure positive surface drainage, then laid out the field within the area desired by Bethel before construction began.
A look at the site preparation, turf-specific equipment and drainage work that went into this installation.
Carefully levelling and removing any debris from the field.
Getting water to freshly laid sod as soon as possible.

Specialty equipment with turf-tires that minimize soil compaction.
Greenhorizons proposed a “push-up” design to raise the playing surface and ensure positive surface drainage, laying out the field within the area desired by Bethel before construction began.
We were able to “site-fit” a premier regulation sized soccer field into the existing grade, using access material from the adjacent development site while minimizing impact on the neighbouring property.
The field layout and grade fit very well into the property and the project was completed on-time and on budget.
Let's talk about what your next project needs — from site-fit design to turf-specific installation.
